Privacy Policy
Khel Party ("the app") is a collection of offline games — Ludo, Snake & Ladder, Tic Tac Toe, Snake & Bite and Chess — published on Google Play by Shubham Batra (Code2night), India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
1. No account, no server of our own
The app has no sign-up and no login. We do not run a server of our own. The player names you type, your settings (sound, music, vibration, theme, notifications) and your scores are stored only on your phone. We never see them. The only game information that leaves your phone is the anonymous usage statistics described in section 4, which you can turn off. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, deletes them.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: banners on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between finished games, and an optional "watch an ad to continue" in Snake & Bite. Ads never appear while a game is running.
To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
- the device's advertising ID,
- IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version),
- ad interactions (which ads were shown or tapped) and diagnostic/crash data about ads.
This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and some US states) the app asks for your consent or choice before personalised ads are shown, and "Privacy choices" in the app's Settings lets you change it at any time. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
3. Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
If you allow notifications, the app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive occasional news such as new games or events. For this, Firebase creates an app instance ID and a messaging token for your installation. It does not contain your name, email or phone number. You can switch notifications off in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings. See the Firebase privacy information.
4. Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
To learn which games people enjoy and where they stop playing, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics to send anonymous usage events: which game was started, its settings (such as number of players, computer difficulty or game mode), whether it was finished or left early, how long it lasted and its score or number of moves, which screens were opened and which app settings were changed. Firebase also records basic device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version, approximate country) and an app instance ID for your installation.
These events never include your name, player names or anything you type. The app does not collect the advertising ID for analytics, does not link analytics to ads, and does not use it for ad personalisation. The data is not sold or shared for advertising.
Analytics is optional: turn it off at any time in the app under Settings → Share anonymous usage stats. It is not used in the web version of the games. The data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; see also the Firebase privacy information.
5. What we do not do
- We do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
- We do not sell personal data.
- There are no real-money games, in-app purchases or chats with other people.
6. Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's data was collected through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Data security and retention
Data sent to Google for ads, notifications and anonymous usage analytics is transmitted over encrypted connections and kept according to Google's retention policies. Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data on our own servers, most of these rights are exercised through your device settings and Google's tools described above. For any request or grievance, write to us.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
